In an era of growing climatic, economic, and geopolitical instability, Naomi Klein’s analysis of the rise of neo-liberalism and the political uses to which disasters are put is useful and timely indeed. This event will provide a venue for discussing and debating Klein’s ideas, for introducing them to a new generation of activists, and for connecting ideas to action.
