This is a talk by Takis Fotopoulos about "The current Multidimensional Crisis and Inclusive Democracy" at Oxford University which took place on November 12th, 2008. This 1st Part contains a rough introduction to Fotopoulos' work and influences and some points on the historic traditions of the democratic/autonomous, socialist libertarian and the radical new movements are made. We are then introduced to the multiple aspects of the deepening multidimensional crisis of our era (political, economical, social, ecological, ideological) that share a common trend: Immense concentration of power and separation of society from Polity, Economy and Nature.
