This is the first of the Films4Forests initiative community and company dialogues films.
The Orang Rimba are a nomadic forest people, small groups of whom live by hunting and gathering within the jungles of Jambi and Riau provinces in Sumatra. Traditionally they are subsistence hunter-gatherers, occasionally raising some money through selling non-timber forest products, particularly through the small-scale and sustainable production of honey, resin, rattan and rubber.
